Heavy Haul Coordinator

About This Role

Coordinate oversize/overweight ground transportation across the U.S. You'll manage permits, plan routes, and work with specialized carriers to ensure safe delivery of heavy lift cargo.

Responsibilities

• Plan routes for oversized and overweight loads
• Obtain state permits and coordinate with DOT
• Select and manage specialized carriers
• Arrange escort vehicles and utility coordination
• Monitor shipments and resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with all transport regulations
• Maintain carrier relationships and negotiate rates

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in heavy haul or OD/OW transportation
• Strong knowledge of state permitting requirements
• Experience with route surveys and engineering
• Familiarity with heavy haul equipment types
• Problem-solving skills and calm under pressure
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Valid driver's license
