Complete Mining Fleet Delivered to 4,000m Elevation
The Challenge
Delivering 23 pieces of heavy mining equipment to a mine at 4,000 meters elevation presented unique challenges: high-altitude road conditions, extreme weather windows, oversized dimensions requiring road modifications, and the need to coordinate with ongoing mine operations.
Our Solution
We coordinated pickup from the manufacturer's facility and transported equipment to Port of Baltimore via specialized heavy-haul trucks. RoRo vessels carried the equipment to Chile, where our local team managed customs and inland transport through mountain roads to the mine site.
