Transport Equipment
Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMT)
SPMTs are multi-axle, computer-controlled transporters capable of moving extremely heavy loads. They can be combined for virtually unlimited capacity.
Overview
Self-Propelled Modular Transporters (SPMTs) are hydraulic platform vehicles that can move extremely heavy and oversized cargo. Each SPMT module has multiple axles (typically 4 or 6) with independent steering and suspension, allowing precise maneuvering. Modules can be combined side-by-side and end-to-end to carry loads from hundreds to tens of thousands of tons. SPMTs are essential for module transportation, shipyard operations, and positioning heavy items.
