Used Vehicle & Equipment Age Limits
Passenger and light vehicles must be 5 years or newer from first registration; trucks up to 10 years. Right-hand-drive, rebuilt, and flood-damaged vehicles are prohibited (Law 147/2000). Non-Kuwaitis generally cannot import in their own name and need a sponsor or licensed company.
