After you win at Jeff Martin Auctioneers

  1. 1Wait for the invoice: after a live sale it is emailed the next business day.
  2. 2Pay as the auction terms require; wiring keeps the $20 wire fee on the invoice, other methods remove it.
  3. 3Send us the paid invoice, the sale location from the terms and whether the item is for export, so sales tax is not charged.
  4. 4We collect the machine, load it with our own carrier and take it to the port, or first to our facility if it needs partial disassembly to fit a container.
  5. 5We file the export declaration (EEI) in the Automated Export System. It is required when any Schedule B line is worth more than $2,500 or needs an export license, and its ITN confirmation goes to the carrier at least 24 hours before the vessel loads.
  6. 6For titled machines and vehicles, the original title and the EEI go to U.S. Customs at the port at least 72 hours before export. Without them the unit cannot sail.
  7. 7We send you the bill of lading and the documents your customs broker needs to clear the machine at destination.

How we work with Jeff Martin Stanton

  • The Stanton yard opens only for two weeks before and two weeks after each auction, so we call the site (432-458-3240) to confirm it is open before a truck is dispatched.
  • Houston is about 500 road miles away, so we book the truck early in the post-sale window and leave time for a Texas oversize permit when the machine needs one.

At every yard we book the pickup, load with our own insured carriers, block and brace the machine, file the export declaration, and take it apart for a container when that is cheaper than shipping it whole.

Why Ship With Us

  • Pickups booked inside the two-week post-sale window
  • Houston about 500 road miles away for containers, flat racks and RoRo

Our Services at This Location
