Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage this website uses. We keep it short because we use very little: no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.
1. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Session storage is similar, but is cleared when you close the tab.
2. What We Use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | Cookie, necessary | Remembers whether you chose English, Spanish or Russian | Until you close your browser |
| spc:last-submission | Session storage, necessary | Shows your details on the confirmation page after you send a form, without putting them in the URL | Until you close the tab |
| spc-onboarding-draft | Session storage, necessary | Saves your onboarding form so a page refresh does not lose your progress | Until you submit or close the tab |
| seaway:visit | Session storage, functional | Remembers the page you arrived on, the site or campaign that referred you and the page you sent a form from, so our team knows which page your request is about. It is only sent to us with a form you submit. | Until you close the tab |
3. Analytics and Security
- Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights count page views, form submissions, contact link clicks and page speed in aggregate. They do not use cookies or track you across sites.
- Google Analytics sets
_gaand_ga_*cookies (up to 2 years) to count returning visitors and which pages lead to enquiries. Advertising features are off. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland it runs without cookies. See Google's cookie policy or use Google's opt-out add-on. - Vercel BotID runs a check in your browser when you submit a form, to block automated spam. It may store a short-lived security token.
4. Third-Party Content
- Google Maps: the map on our contact page is loaded from Google, which may set its own cookies. See Google's cookie policy.
- Google Places: address suggestions on the homepage quote form are provided by Google.
- Social links: our links to LinkedIn, YouTube and other networks are plain links. Those sites only set cookies if you visit them.
5. Managing Cookies
You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the language cookie, the site will still work and will pick a language from your browser settings each visit. Clearing session storage only removes your confirmation details or onboarding draft.
6. Changes
If we add cookies, we will update this page and the date at the top first.
